Ok, I give up!!!

Lets get things straight at the start, we love what we do. We love our customers and love the creativity we get to use every day. But...as a small business trying to grow and trying to gain brand awareness we are constantly hampered by other small start ups who undermine everything we - and all other legitimate businesses - do every day. There isn't a day that goes by when I don't see on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram someone else selling melts or bath bombs without correct ingredients labels, without safety assessments and without an understanding of the labelling process. Like many other small companies we have spent many, many hours and a small fortune making sure our home fragrance products are CLP compliant and any soaps or bath products we sell have been tested, certified and safety tested. Do you buy bath beauty products online from independent vendors?  Do you sell on Etsy, IG or FB? Do you understand the laws regarding soap, bath bombs, sugar scrubs, lotions, bath salts, massage bars? If you answered yes to either of the first two questions then the answer to the third is really important. If ANY cosmetic (which includes soap, bath bombs, sugar scrubs, lotions, bath salts, massage bars amongst many others) is sold in the UK or is sold into the UK from the US, it must comply with the EU regulations on cosmetic safety. To cut a very long story short - if a cosmetic product is offered for sale in the EU it must have been assessed or tested by a qualified cosmetic chemist beforehand.
