Thank you so much for stopping by, we do hope you like what you see!
Lilian Jones was borne out of our desire to create something that reflected our endless search for products that were Made in England, that were genuinely cruelty free and created with love and care by people who love what they do.
We are very much a family run business based in the beautiful Cotswolds countryside and all of our products are created in small batches with nothing mass-produced. Everything is inspired, designed, created – not manufactured – and we know the provenance of all of our products and ingredients.
Our cruelty free journey came about from our shared love of animals, creating a strong sense of responsibility for our planet and in particular, animal welfare; as a result we do not use palm oil and strive to produce products that are as ethical and natural as we possibly can.
We are constantly searching for new products, new ingredients, new ways of creating popular products whilst avoiding any of the nasties. As a result we do not use SLS/SLES or Parabens in any of our cosmetics nor do we use paraffin in our candles. Our products are always vegetarian and most are fully vegan friendly.
We couldn’t do any of this without your support and so we thank all of our customers – past, present and future – for your ongoing love and support.
Ted and Lily
Our ethics and principles underpin all that we do, and we believe nothing we do should be to the detriment of our planet or its inhabitants.
We oppose testing on animals for all cosmetics and household products anywhere in the world and the search for humane alternative is a key part of our day to day life. Animal testing has been banned across the EU and UK for a number of years, as well as in Israel and India, but there are still a huge number of animals suffering across the world in places such as Australia, Canada, Brazil, Russia, China and across America.
Delivery within the UK Mainland is facilitated by our primary couriers: Royal Mail and My Hermes.
Smaller parcels are sent by Royal Mail and with larger items being delivered though My Hermes. Both operate a 24hr service to most of the UK; however in order to keep costs down we generally send parcels out by the cheapest method and in the case of Royal Mail by second class delivery. As such, orders placed before 12pm on a working day are usually delivered within 48 hours. Please allow up to 5 working days for packing and delivery (7 days for highlands, Islands and NI) before contacting us.
During busy periods, such as Christmas, delivery may take up 10 days.
